My method for a fresh start on Notion

Taking the brief

During a 20-minute meeting, I get to know you, your business and your issues.

Audit of existing processes

At this stage, I interview members of your team to understand your current processes. This stage is fundamental in that it enables me to propose an organization adapted to your day-to-day work. If you’re already working on Notion, I’ll map your information system and take a close look at your workspace.

Designing Notion

With all the information gathered during the audit, I design or transform your Notion workspace. I develop databases, templates and views, and help you configure access. The goal: to co-create a clear, easy-to-use, made-to-measure space. If you’re using another tool, I’ll migrate you to Notion to keep your existing information.

Team training

Now it’s time for team onboarding! To support this organizational and digital transition, it is essential to train the various stakeholders involved. What’s on the agenda? Face-to-face or remote training, and the production of video tutorials to make it easier for them to get to grips with the system.

What happens next?

Three weeks after setting up the Notion organization, we schedule a feedback call. As a result, I fine-tune your space so that it fully embraces your way of working.

WHAT IS NOTION?

Notion is a modern collaborative tool for centralizing information and efficiently managing projects and activities. With its modular approach, the possibilities are endless.

HOW MUCH DOES NOTION COST?

The price of Notion depends on the number of employees, as it is SaaS software. You can start free of charge to discover the tool and get to grips with it. A Plus package at 9.50€ / user / month is then available for professional use. The Business plan at 14€ / user / month allows you to go even further, notably in terms of security, number of guests and team spaces.

NOTION VERSUS TRELLO?

Although Trello has evolved recently, its approach is still centered around the kanban board concept. There’s no way to unify all information. Notion offers more functionality, allowing you to build a customized information system to intelligently manage all aspects of your business. If you’re currently using Trello, you’ll need to migrate your operations to Notion.

NOTION VERSUS ARSANA?

Arsana is an excellent project management tool, with advanced team collaboration features. Notion, however, offers greater scope for customization. Rigid or flexible organization, the choice is yours!

NOTION VERSUS CODA?

Both tools have a modular approach. In this, they are very similar. How can you tell them apart? Notion’s strengths are its community of over 100 million users, its accessible UX and its capacity for innovation. As for Coda, it has certain functionalities that Notion handles differently, such as dashboards. Coda may be suitable for very tech-friendly users, while Notion is more versatile.

NOTION VERSUS EVERNOTE, ONENOTE OR OBSIDIAN?

All three of these tools focus on a single functionality: note-taking. In this respect, Notion goes much further, offering an all-in-one tool for organizing your work according to your way of working. Obsidian stands apart from Evernote and OneNote, however, with its original mind-mapping approach that links all notes together.

WHAT IS THE NOTIONAL EQUIVALENT OF GOOGLE?

Google offers different tools such as Docs, Drive, Sheets and Slides to meet different needs. Notion, on the other hand, is an all-in-one tool that eliminates the need to spread out over several tools and files.

DOES NOTION MAKE YOU MORE PRODUCTIVE?

Notion is designed to enable companies to design tailor-made collaborative environments optimized for productivity. However, since Notion offers great freedom of customization, you need to know how to use the tool and have a good grounding in project management to design a space that fully delivers on its promises. Training and/or support from a Notion expert may be in order.
